Appointiqa Platform Terms of Service — Version 2026-01
These Terms govern the relationship between Social Avatar (“Appointiqa”) and you, the business or individual (“Tenant”) creating a booking page on the Appointiqa platform.
1. Nature of service
Appointiqa provides scheduling and booking software as a technology intermediary. We are not a party to any transaction or service agreement between you and your customers. We do not collect, hold, or handle any payment made by your customers — all payments go directly to your own Razorpay account.
2. Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the quality, legality, and safety of the services you offer. All disputes between you and your customers are your sole responsibility. You must hold all licences and registrations required by Indian law. You are responsible for your own GST and tax obligations.
3. Payment passthrough
All customer payments are processed directly through your Razorpay account. Appointiqa never receives, holds, or accesses your customer payments at any time.
4. Customer relationships
Your customers book with you, not with Appointiqa. The contract for services is between you and your customer. Appointiqa is not liable for any service-related complaints or disputes.
5. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Social Avatar against any claims, damages, or legal fees arising from your services, any breach of these Terms, or any dispute with your customers.
6. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Platform for illegal services, to collect payments without delivering services, or to misrepresent your qualifications or pricing.
7. Data and privacy
You are the data fiduciary for your customers’ personal data. You must have a lawful basis to collect and use it under India’s DPDP Act 2023. See our full Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of liability
Appointiqa’s total liability is limited to subscription fees paid by you in the three months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
